The Dahlonega Butterfly is a vision for a sustainable future.  A future with clean air, fresh water and thriving vegetation.   It combines a love for the environment with the science and research needed to create positive change for the community, and for generations to come.  "Be Kind to Your Planet".

The venue is located on 5.5 acres of rolling mountain land in the historical gold-mining region of Castleberry Bridge Rd.  The Etowah River rushes under The Castleberry Bridge  which sits on the border of Lumpkin County & Dawson County.   The area has an abundance of wildlife and native plants, making it the perfect location for our butterfly habitats.  We're just 5 miles North of GA 400, & 6 miles to the SW of downtown Dahlonega.
